    Founder

    Stephanie Andrews founded Balance Design in 2002 after being encouraged by her family to pursue her dream of starting her own design firm. Since then, she and her team have created hundreds of curated interiors ranging from single rooms to entire homes. Stephanie is an intuitive listener who is especially attentive to the needs and aesthetic preferences of individual clients. Her discerning eye for color, furniture, rugs, and art has become a hallmark of her design aesthetic, allowing her to incorporate clients’ own furniture with new pieces. The result is beautiful, authentic spaces that leave a lasting impression.

  • Shelby Adamson

    Senior Designer

    Shelby Adamson joined Balance Design in the summer of 2015. Educated in interior design as well as merchandising, Shelby creates beautifully curated spaces down to the smallest detail. Her background in kitchen and bath design and home staging has taught her to cherish the details of a small space, but also see the big picture in overall space planning. Her signature style is tried and true classics mixed with a whimsical presence.

    Studio Director

    Danielle’s arrival at Balance Design perfectly satisfied her need for expressive creativity as well as analytical thinking. Her SCAD Atlanta education equipped her with a keen artistic eye and historical mindset, and her years of administrative experience in the art industry have made her a detail-oriented master of organization. Danielle feels right at home drafting a blog post, maintaining client project statuses, and brainstorming for a photo shoot all at the same time. She likes to think of herself as "the method behind the madness."

    Junior Designer

    Melody joined Balance Design after making a career change from being an elementary school teacher. She is continuing her education as an interior designer while working with Balance Design. Her love for all things creative and a passion for decorating aid her bubbly personality in her ability to relate to anyone she works with. She has a knack for space planning and a keen eye for color. Her love of travel and different cultures helps to bring an eclectic worldview to all of her projects.

    Interior Designer

    Jennifer brings over 15 years of professional design experience and education to Balance Design. With a family background rich in seamstresses, her connection to both interior and product design has allowed her to develop a layered style and fresh approach to designing for clients. Her strong attention to detail is fueled by a desire to help people make the most of where they live, and her thoughtful perspective is evident in all of her designs.

  • Magnolia Triplett

    Project Coordinator

    Magnolia joined the Balance Design team in 2018 after managing a yoga studio and working in Atlanta's music industry. With a formal education in public relations and music, she considers herself a lifelong enthusiast of art and design. Her years of journalistic writing and music practice, as well as her administrative/managerial background have gifted her with an expert eye for detail, coordination, and creativity. Magnolia is in her element when she’s busy working behind the scenes of a project, updating Balance Design’s Pinterest and making sure we exceed our clients' expectations.
