  • Paul Smail

After receiving his undergraduate degree in Biology from the Florida State University, Dr. Smail graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. Dr. Smail's interests include dentistry, geriatric medicine, and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Paul Smail is married to Dr. Nicole Smail, a pediatrician for PAMPA. They have two children, Gavin and Sophia. Dr. Smail also has a new pup named Bowden. He enjoys watching football, playing tennis and golf, and exploring Atlanta with his family. "Why I do what I do." My first pet, Bailey, lived to be 16퉌_ years old. He was a rescue dog with multiple health issues yet he lived a long life. My goal is to take care of your pets as if he or she were my own. I would like each and every one of your pets to live long healthy lives as my first dog did. I truly believe that the human-animal bond gives us a happier and healthier life. My passion is to strengthen that bond through all your pet's stages of life and give them the best care possible.

  • Lindsay Manice

    DVM

Dr. Lindsay Manice grew up in Vermont and graduated with a degree in neuroscience from Colgate University. She worked as a research assistant in immunology for two years before following her dream of becoming a veterinarian. After graduating with honors from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, Lindsay went on to complete an internship in medicine and surgery at VCA San Francisco Veterinary Specialists. Lindsay and her husband, Walter, along with their dog, Penny, and two cats, Isabella and Zephyr, all moved down to Atlanta this spring. Lindsay enjoys running, hiking and just being outdoors in general, and is looking forward to exploring Atlanta and its surroundings. "Why I do what I do." Our pets love us unconditionally. They give us so much joy, they make us laugh, and they comfort us when we are sad. They are an integral part of our family. I became a veterinarian because I wanted to spend my days caring for pets, making sure that they in turn live healthy, happy, and carefree lives. They deserve the best. I enjoy meeting families and their pets and listening to their stories. I love teaching people how to care for their new puppy or kitten, watching them grow, and making them feel better when they are sick. Being a veterinarian is one of the most challenging profession, but also the most rewarding. I cannot imagine being anything else.
