Swarn Arya, DO received her medical degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed residency at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (New York) and a fellowship in Transplant Infectious Diseases at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill-UNC Medical Center. Dr. Arya is board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases and has been practicing medicine for 8 years. Her special interests include infections, immune reconstitution, and microbiome-host immune interactions in immunocompromised patients. In her spare time, Dr. Arya enjoys cooking (especially sourdough baking), being outdoors (hiking, jogging, walking, and identifying bird calls), and reading sci-fi and mystery novels. Dr. Arya welcomes new patients and accepts most major insurance plans.
