David Zagoria
Attorney David Zagoria has been practicing law for more than 20 years, serving as a Chief Senior Assistant District Attorney in Fulton County and as a prosecutor in Gwinnett and DeKalb Counties, before starting his private practice. David leverages the expertise gained working in criminal law to advocate for clients in a variety of personal injury cases. David’s years of courtroom experience inform his approach to personal injury law. Every case he takes on is investigated as thoroughly as possible to be prepared in the event it has to be argued before a jury. David is one of the most experienced and respected trial lawyers in Georgia. David is a skilled and empathetic advocate who fights injustice on behalf of victims whose rights have been violated. David has successfully tried landmark legal battles in Georgia that have both set precedent and resulted in millions of dollars of rightful compensation for his clients. His primary area of practice is plaintiff personal injury, with a focus on people bitten or knocked down by dogs. David has written two books on the subject, “A Plaintiff Attoney’s Guide to Winning Dog Bite Cases and “Dog Attack, A Guide for Victims and Their Families” . He is the past president, vice-president and secretary of the Atlanta Bar, Animal Law Section. He is a frequent speaker and guest lecturer to other attorneys. David is a 2018 graduate of Trial Lawyers College, a celebrated national program that helps attorneys strengthen and enhance their skills to stand up for the rights of ordinary people. David was invited to join the TLC faculty in 2023. He also serves on TLC’s F Warrior Board (TLC’s alumni organization) as an elected representative.
