Tom Ruiz de Luzuriaga brings a career built on versatility, depth, and an unwavering commitment to his clients. A native of Port St. Lucie, Florida and current Suwanee, Georgia resident, Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Fairfield University and has spent over two decades building expertise across some of the most respected names in financial services. Tom’s career began on Wall Street, where he worked as a stockbroker in New York City before relocating to Florida in 2002 and transitioning into mortgage banking the following year. That foundation set the stage for a rich and varied path including roles at Bank of America as a personal banker and loan officer, followed by over a decade at JPMorgan Chase, where he served in capacities ranging from personal banker and small business specialist to investments, Private Client Banker, and ultimately Senior Home Lending Advisor. Along the way, a company transfer brought him from Florida to Georgia in 2019, where he has proudly put down roots. In February 2025, Tom joined SouthState Bank as a Mortgage Banker, a move that allowed him to return to his passion for helping clients navigate one of the most important financial decisions of their lives. His broad background across investments, private banking, and lending give him a perspective few mortgage professionals can offer. A proud Filipino-American Association of the Treasure Coast member, Tom is deeply connected to both his heritage and his community. Outside of work, he enjoys home improvements, golf, cheering on his Miami sports teams, and above all, spending quality time with his wife and two daughters.
