Robert D. Blasberg, MD, is a board-certified Ophthalmologist serving our Sandy Springs patients since 1984. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Emory. He remained at Emory for his ophthalmology residency and continued on to serve as a Clinical Assistant Professor. Dr. Blasberg specializes in cataract and glaucoma management and provides iStent® Trabecular Micro-Bypass Stent as a treatment option to reduce eye pressure for patients with both cataracts and glaucoma. Furthermore, he is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
