    Frank Bayuk

Frank Bayuk is a first-chair trial lawyer who focuses his practice on catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases, as well as products liability and mass tort/class actions. He has tried dozens of cases to verdict – involving billions of dollars in damages – in courtrooms across the country, and has successfully persuaded juries to find in favor of his clients nearly every time. He has been repeatedly recognized for winning in the most complex and high-stakes trials and in the toughest jurisdictions. Frank’s “notable trial capabilities” are routinely commended by leading legal publications and rankings services. “He is an excellent trial lawyer – very innovative, and with a very broad knowledge base,” and “is a relentless and ethical lawyer” according to Chambers. He has repeatedly been included in Georgia Super Lawyers; selected as a “rising star” in both trials and products liability by Law360; included multiple times on Benchmark Litigation’s “Under 40 Hot List”; and lauded for his “strong reputation” in the courtroom by Legal500; among others. Before co-founding Bayuk Pratt, Frank was a Partner at two of the largest law firms in the world, Jones Day and King & Spalding, where he led numerous trial teams and supervised hundreds of lawyers in the workup and trial strategy development for severe injury and death cases. His legal skills were sought-after by the wealthiest Fortune100 corporate clients, and during his defense tenure Frank was known for “a stellar track record of defending some of America’s most established and well-known companies against potentially devastating legal actions, and he has accomplished this in what have often been hostile environments”; “his work on behalf of companies facing aggressive, high-stakes liability actions is outstanding.” But Frank grew to feel a big change was needed, and came to believe there was a much better use for his skills. Frank started Bayuk Pratt solely to now use those skills – and all of that experience – in order to do good. In order to help people in need. In order to fight for people who can’t fight for themselves, and to hold wrongdoers accountable for the harms they cause. He gave up his big law firm partnership because he believes that individuals and families should have the same elite level of legal representation that was formerly available only to the most powerful companies – and that is exactly what Bayuk Pratt is designed to provide. When Frank is not at work, he can be found spending time with his wonderful two young children, a daughter and son, helping them with schoolwork, traveling with them, and coaching their sports teams. He attends Buckhead Church in Atlanta. Frank also does volunteer work for various legal-related causes, including mentoring younger lawyers and aspiring lawyers, and has served as a faculty member for the Emory University School of Law Trial Techniques program, teaching trial tactics to law students.

  • Bradley Pratt

    Bradley Pratt

Bradley W. Pratt represents people. He plays the long game, and puts his client’s goals and a thoughtful strategy ahead of ego and short term gains. Some of our greatest achievements are highly confidential, for the benefit of our clients and their families, and that is just the way we like it. Trying Cases in Courtrooms Across the Country Most lawyers do not try cases. Bradley has taken cases to trial in courtrooms throughout the Southeast, from Texas to Georgia and from Tennessee to Florida – and coast to coast, from California to Pennsylvania. He’s argued appeals before state Supreme Courts and the U.S. Courts of Appeals, and he’s tried highly sophisticated cases to verdict, from a bellwether mass tort case in a “complex litigation” jurisdiction to a large-scale federal class action. Few trial lawyers today have this depth and breadth of complex and challenging trial experience. Bradley’s practice demands justice for people who have been seriously harmed by wrongdoing. He thrives on complex litigation, with a focus on large personal injury and wrongful death cases (including trucking collisions, an area in which he has considerable experience as former national counsel for one of the largest shippers in the world), class actions (involving breach of contract, false or misleading marketing, or fraud), “whistleblower” cases (representing people with inside knowledge of violations of the False Claims Act, including false or fraudulent representations to the government in exchange for government payment), and product liability lawsuits (such as tire failures, dangerous drugs, or toxic chemicals). Bradley grew up in Mississippi where he learned to hunt from his grandfather and learned to fish from his father. Now he lives in Atlanta with his wife, Lelia, and he’s passing down his love for the outdoors to his three children, Cole, Abby, and Betty.
