Description

After graduating from Auburn University, Alysia and her husband moved to London, UK, for a grand adventure. They lived in London for seven years, and their eldest daughter was born there. Soon after, they relocated back to Atlanta, where Alysia began working as a medical assistant at Dermatology Affiliates. Dr. Forney and the other providers trained her from the ground up in dermatology, and she continued working while she had her two youngest kids. Alysia worked for seven years as a medical assistant at DA before starting PA school at Mercer University. After graduation, she accepted a job to come back home to Dermatology Affiliates. Alysia loves to help patients feel empowered to keep their skin clear and healthy, and she’s passionate about sun protection. She loves forming relationships with patients as she helps them reach their goals. Alysia is a member of Georgia Association of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, and Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants.
