  Jeff Tormey

  Founder & Owner

  I’m the founder of SEO Guru Atlanta. I started learning SEO in 2001 out of curiosity. Originally from Albuquerque, NM, I have a background in Mechanical Engineering and graduated from the University of Arizona in 1988. While in college, I worked for the Air Force Weapons lab as an intern and did extensive programming and simulations as part of the Strategic Defense Initiative. I also worked in the University of Arizona Optical Sciences Center, one of the foremost optical science universities in the world. After working in the field of engineering after college, I became fascinated with the science of online search. I began selling ebooks online, then used my new skills in my house-flipping business and then began helping other local businesses in 2009. SEO Guru Atlanta was incorporated in 2012 and we’ve been working with local, national and global companies ever since!
