Dr. Scott M. Slayden, M.D. joined RBA in January 2001. Originally a native of Coral Gables, Florida, Dr. Slayden moved to Atlanta and graduated high school from Pace Academy. He obtained a B.S. in Biology from Vanderbilt University in 1985, where he originally planned to obtain a Ph.D in marine biology and reproductive physiology. Experiences gained during his job as an undergraduate research assistant at the newly formed Vanderbilt IVF program eventually changed this plan. This one turn of events led to a true calling and career in reproductive medicine. Dr. Slayden obtained his M.D. in 1990 from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana.
